Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

The fine that we are already threatened with relates to overspending in our promotion season of 2013-14. Caulker was signed after that, so we wouldn't be being punished twice for the same offence. In any case, it would be a transfer embargo rather than a fine. Whatever spin you want to put on it ou...

Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

It appears the issue is mainly a salaries one so Caulker's departure is obviously the key as he'll be getting one of, if not the highest whack of any player. I've no idea what Nbakoto and Sylla are on but perhaps their departures are more about not being in favour with Ollie and getting something f...

Re: Three managerial suggestions

Well I didn't expect this thread would spark off verbal fisticuffs. I was genuinley interested in people's views on potential replacement managers, but we're all too fed up with QPR aren't we?

I know the feeling.

Cheer up. It'll be Christmas soon.

Three managerial suggestions

Many on here feel Ollie should be replaced. Who might that be? And the challenges of zero available transfer funds, a £40m FFP fine hanging over the club and a squad that currently has worrying deficiencies are real considerations. Here are three suggestions: Chris Powell. Out of work for past two y...

Re: Just back....

You might be right that Ollie doesn't trust Furlong, but the lad has been out injured in recent weeks. Otherwise, given the injury crisis I think we may well have seen him play.

Re: How long does Holloway have?

I think a few more defeats and Ollie's position will become untenable unless we have some great deals lined up in January and he gets the chance to work with any new players. At the moment I am in favour of keeping him but another 3, 4, 5 defeats on the spin and even Ollie's staunchest supporters w...

Re: How long does Holloway have?

The problem with having to name a credible replacement is how many managers do we know sufficiently well. Of course there are the 20 in the Premier League but I think we would all agree they are out of the question similaly many in the Championship. How many of us have detailed knowledge of manager...

Re: In amongst the ashes

I think Pawel does okay at RB/RWB but really, he is a RW. That said, he kept over hitting his crosses today which was very frustrating.

That's pretty shocking, even by your standards. Do you not know what her 'football team' did?
I’m not fussy; she’s got more chance of winning away.
If she comes I hope your name isn't Stompie.

League1 would be dire, we really do need to stay in this division, please Santa I've been a good boy this year.
I think there are 3 worse teams than us in this division this season.

Alright then. Name me three managers who'd not just be prepared to replace Ollie but would do a better job?

I doubt he's going anywhere soon. Who else would want to replace him that could do any better?

I believe the club have made him an offer, but he's asked for time to mullet over.

I'm here all week. Unlike most of our defenders.
