Re: QPR help kick off Oaklands

A bit more on QPR's involvement in Oaklands: https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/features/oaklands/

Re: LGBT initiative by the club

If people in these groups want a voice and think this is the best way to go about it then fair enough. But I can't think what outcomes they can discuss that can't be met within existing fan groups. Any discrimination is surely met within the Kick It Out initiatives? Really struggling to identify un...

Re: LGBT initiative by the club

It may seem strange to those of us who are born with certainty about our sexuality and with a male or female set of genitalia. However, there are more who don't possess such 'norms' than we'd imagine. They don't neatly fit into our usual categories and consequently their lives are often very diffic...

Tell us something new

English Football League clubs risk bankruptcy by chasing promotion to the Premier League, financial experts say: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41564471

Mind you, the table at the end of the article on staff spend compared to turnover is something of a surprise.

Re: LGBT initiative by the club

Another fantastic QPR community initiative. Well done my club. Perhaps football is finally beginning to change in this respect. I am looking to the day when we don't need separate LGBT groups because prejudice and social exclusion of LGBT community no longer exists. Until then groups like this will ...

Why don't you post a similar message on Loft for Words as well? I think they've got a larger readership and there's a current post entitled "In Jan, where do we need to improve most?" from someone called TonyHongKong.

Re: Franco

I'm not easily shocked these days but the indiscriminate riot police brutality against people waiting to vote was appalling. I am very unhappy with the way much of the UK media have reported this as 'clashes' and 'riots'. It was nothing of the sort. The police were the perpetrators of aggression and...
