Re: Big meeting on Monday

“That’s two weeks in a row now that from a set-piece we’ve crumbled a bit, mentally. I’ve got to have a good look at myself because I’ve been trying some different combinations up front and normally Matt Smith heads them out, and I haven’t picked him in the last two games." Sums his tactical acumen...

Re: SMYTHHHHHH

Exciting debut. I'm trying to contain my excitement as i've been disappointed enough times before but it's hard not to. Pace is such a difference maker at this level. He looked excited to be out there and put a shift in. Obviously, he's raw and needs to work on the fouling a bit. I'm sure he'll hav...

Re: Bristol City

I want to know what they had at half time as first half they couldn't hit a barn from inside Indeed...Good game...nice bit of festive spirit in second half....Thought a draw was fair. Couldn't see the penalty from where i was sitting ( R Block) will watch after i have had some drinks Have to say......

Re: Just back....

Girogio - great story for choosing QPR, just to check, had you been so bad that your parents also bought you the ticket for QPR? Your support, is inspiring. ..well....I was hosted in a family..so instead of asking - as many boys do at that age "who's on top of the league" to pick the easy option - ...

Re: Holloway interview after the game

Re : Ollies Comments. If fans had left maybe 10 or 5 minutes before the end, I sort of agree...but they were leaving in the last minutes of a game where up until that point, we only had a few on target. I usually wait till end but have on the occasion started to walk in the last 60 seconds. Reason.....

Re: Redknapp

Funny how the fans of most clubs he's managed have such a low opinion of him. West Ham Portsmouth Southampton QPR Even Tottenham ! Ask them. Good luck Birmingham THIS, is a very interesting point. If you ask football fans around the country, they are of the opinion that Harry is/was a great manager...

Re: Holloway in West London Sport

Not nice losing at home to them, especially in that manner. But just a bit of perspective, I'm sure the below sets of fans are pretty angry too. It is the cup aferall. Doncaster 2 Hull 0 Cardiff 1 Burton 2 Watford 2 Bristol City 3 Fulham 0 Bristol Rovers 1 Then why bother ?....Waste of time from th...

Re: Boycott Cup games !

I don't know where this revisionist notion that the players weren't up for it has sprung from as that wasn't the case at all. There was effort, there was ability in flashes, there was desire. What was lacking was cohesion, an understanding between the players and fluidity... as you would expect fro...

Re: Ollie on Brentford debacle

I keep saying....why do we feel the need to rest players on a Tuesday night - in a cup competition. The same competition we found our only winners silverware. We have 5 league games from now until Christmas one a Tuesday night. Will we devalue our team then? No...so what difference does one more gam...

Re: Humble pie moment

Come back soon Ned. You are obviously the only capable defender we have. I was wrong, and offer my apologies. This is genuine by the way. Baptiste was good tonight, he played against a very quick and sharp Brentford attack, he was fighting a loosing battle with Caulker next to him. Fair play to you...

Re: Humble pie moment

Sorry....why do we have to play a weakened side?
We have 5 leagues between now and Xmas, on a Tuesday night. In not one game do I expect a weakened side, so what difference does 1 extra game make?
At least...go half and half but 10 changes?

Re: Stoke and Brighton watching Onuoha

If Ned was guilty of conceding our first goal - having seen the replay if Lua Lua's miss.....then the miss was greater (IMO).
Easy to jump on back of player to make a scapegoat.....defensive errors seem to be more "highlighted" than not being able to act least hit the target from a few yard out.

Re: Stoke and Brighton watching Onuoha

Danny Maddix regularly had a howler per game, and he was a fantastic defender whose worth no one ever questioned It appears that you can only be a scapegoat if you make a mistake in a dangerous position for QPR. No-one seems too concerned about Scowens 2 mistakes per game so far or any other outfie...

Re: Caulker back in first team training

QPR’s management team are due to meet on Monday afternoon to discuss transfer targets. Rangers have been monitoring a number of players in recent weeks and plan to add at least a couple to their squad during the final weeks of the transfer window. They remain keen on Andy Yiadom despite reports of ...

Re: Tony tweeting against

Either Marc Bircham or Ollie, or both , at the end of the season both stated they wanted to do transfer business in and out early. They wanted to have a settled squad before friendlies started. I'm not going to troll back to find quotes, but they were said. Now - I am a simple realistic fan( I think...
