Re: Red Card

They got away with murder defending our set pieces all afternoon. At the time I thought it was never a red. Having seen the highlights, it’s a bit worse than I first thought... but still harsh IMO. Lunging in through the player? Looked dangerous play to me. It was badly timed, but a yellow card wou...

Re: Wishy washy

Yep, I completely agree.

Smythe offers a lot more based on the limited amount I’ve seen of him so far.

Washington gives pace and work-rate with no end product. I think we’ll try to offload him this summer.

Surely playing for a big club in front of big crowds is something he doesn't need to work on to get in our first team.

Re: Sean Goss

I watched part of the game, only a few minutes... but the standard was absolutely dire. Looked like a training session. With respect, he should be getting glowing reports every week if that’s what he’s up against. It was a cup game against a championship side, which is essentially League 2 or even ...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

I think that the club were between a rock and a hard place with Jack Robinson. Prior to this season his injury record was absolutely terrible - any contract offered would have been nothing more than a punt... And an expensive one if he was laid back on the treatment table for another year or so. As ...

Any current ST holders thinking of not renewing?
Yep, I’ll be renewing.

But I don’t agree with the PR from the club over this new blue area. Won’t really help anyone. Just a nice headline.

Re: you let me down, you let you friends down and

Yep, I would love to know if his extension included any bonus or signing-on fees. Very common with players and potentially managers too? I may have missed something, but I thought Barnsley were in a horrible run of form. Surprised he’s attracted any interest with the way they’ve been playing recentl...

Re: Well done Queens Park Rangers

I’m not a huge fan of him, but I thought Lynch had a superb game. Obviously Scowen MOTM for that bit of magic, but Lynch was vitally important.
