When do the squad numbers get released?

Post by ZENITH R » Mon Aug 31, 2020 9:37 am

We have our first competitive match on Saturday so they need to get their finger out.

I'd give Chair the number 10 shirt.

The 10 shirt is the hardest to fill and to give Chair it would be so unfair on such a young player's confidence after Eze filled it with aplomb....

If he does take it and fails he'll be in good company as even Adel failed wearing it....

Adel will always be No.7 for me when he was at his finest for the club..
2020/2021.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Good point systemsguy but the only possible contender I can see for the no 10 shirt is George Thomas and we've not see enough to really know. And, he's only half a year older than Chair.

Chair seems to me to be self confident enough to cope with the expectations that will be placed on him next season whether or not he wears no 10.

So, they came out today.

Chair gets number 10

No number for Deshane Dalling. I thought he might make the step up this year after his loan to Cork.

Dykes gets number 9 and LTC gets 22

No numbers 5 or 7 which suggests incoming players.

Has Manning always been 14?
