Two goals a game conceded

Post by Southgate Hoop » Wed Nov 27, 2019 9:44 pm

Officially now, after 18 games we concede on average 2 goals a game. Haven’t witness that for a long time, if ever. We may well be playing better football, apparently, under Warbs. But this is becoming far too alarming now. We look hapless all over the field.

And we aren't scoring two at the other end either. Lots of problems for MW to sort out alright. Players as usual get away with it

They do. For instance, yes Lumley made the mistake against Fulham, but Wells 1 on 1 miss that my 6 year old would have scored gets overlooked.

Wells did the same last season. Starts well... then fades as the team does. Could the two be related?

It’s okay, I’m sure our esteemed Director of Football has a load of defenders coming through - like he has done for the last five years.

There wasn't too much evidence of that tonight.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!
