It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

It's getting a bit tasty as the first half draws to a close.

Good going forward and dodgy at the back: same as 1st team.

3-3, entertaining game, we equalised with a penalty in injury time.

It finished 3-3 with us scoring a penalty deep into injury time at the end.

They did well, particularly as most of them are still teenagers. For me, ABM and Dalling were the stand out players with Bettache also looking good in patches.

I wouldn't want to be too negative about an U23 player but I've yet to be convinced by Walker. It's a shame Kendall seems to be constantly injured and Alfa could do well in the striker's role but he wasn't in the squad today.

Alfa has gone on loan to Billericay (which i'm astonished the club agreed to).

It would definitely be good to see if a couple of these lads could get a loan in L2 for the second half of the season.

Nathan Carlyle, Dylan Duncan and Jake Frailing all impressed too IMO. It IS a shame about Charley Kendall too.

Themis Kefalos also there on loan too now. He came on in the second half but they still went down 3-1 to Slough. Alfa's goal was apparently a good individual effort.
