It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Ah, bugger, missed this. What was the score.

Is the England game on TV? Would like to keep an eye on it in case Eze gets on.

I managed to catch most of the game while WFH. It was a good match ending 2-2. I think they lined up 4231 and the front 3 all impressed: Ody Alpha, Amrit Bansal-McNulty and Dashane Dalling - in many ways not dissimilar from our first team front three.

Gubbins, our very promising 18 year old CB, was carried off with what looked like a serious injury. I do hope the lad recovers well.

I went along to this: free of charge entry into a section of South Africa Road with padded seats but still no legroom. Quite cold up there.

We were second best in the 1st half but had a great spell in the second with a couple of good goals. Nasty looking fall for the centre back led to a 10 minute delay and after that Sheffield Wednesday took control again. Entertaining game though.

Impressed with Bettache and Bansall-McNulty, Alfa and Dalling looked tricky but need better end product, Woollard-Innocent looked tidy at the back, keeper Dickinson made a couple of good saves.

He is OK, has a very stiff neck but no serious injury,

Speaking of international U-21's, Conor Masterson is playing at CB for the Republic of Ireland in a home qualifier against Armenia tonight.
On Eir-Sport 1 for those who have it.
