Liam Kelly
First signing of the summer
Championship club Queens Park Rangers have signed goalkeeper Liam Kelly from Livingston for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old featured 43 times for Livi last season before triggering a clause in his contract allowing him to leave the Scottish Premiership outfit.
Kelly, who started his career at Scottish giants Rangers, has agreed a four-year deal at Loftus Road.
"Liam has great distribution and he is a very good shot stopper," QPR boss Mark Warburton told the club website.
"Joe Lumley did exceptionally well last season so Liam's job is to come here and compete."
Scotland squad keeper Kelly is Rangers' first signing of the summer transfer window and their first new arrival since last August.
The west London club were under a transfer embargo in January after breaching Financial Fair Play regulations.

Re: Liam Kelly
Got the potential to be a very good signing, if the reported £50k fee is true. GK wasn't a position I thought we needed a new signing in, I'm assuming we'll try to sell Ingram and loan out Dieng (if he signs a new contract) and Brzozowski

Re: Liam Kelly
Looks like a good signing to me: a young player on the up with a decent potential resale value. 4 year contract indicates the club have a lot of faith in him. He has the potential to become first choice Scotland keeper as the competition is getting old.

Very, very highly rated up in Scotland. Can’t say I know anything about him, but potential to be a stunning piece of business.

Who was the last Scottish player to play for QPR - a person actually born in Scotland?

Re: Liam Kelly
I'm pleased with this. Personally I think Lumley was OK, but I did think GK was a weak position for us.
Plenty of rumors indicating Dieng is going to Rangers and we're looking to get rid of Ingram

Ah, of course. The legend that is Coll Donaldson. Played a full game for us. Yep, the whole 90 minutes. Well remembered, sir.

To be fair, the competition for Scotland’s #1 shirt has NEVER been that strong ! Bankole was given serious consideration on more than one occasion.....

Barnsley away, 3-2 last game of season. Suk Young scored a cracker. Shodipo shone briefly, Coll was average at best.
