Would surprise me if either have signed yet. If the keeper is highly touted then I imagine his agent will not be signing on the dotted line just yet and I'd be surprised if Wallace has also agreed to our limited wages before seeing what else is out there. I'm holding my breath on these two.
There are a few articles suggesting Wallace is taking a pay cut to join. There are also a lot indicating he's more or less about to sign.
He's out of contract, so I can't see how a pay cut comes into it. Does look like he's going to sign though.
He may be doing a bit of consulting for Air Asia on the side.

Probably just general paper bollocks, but I guess they're implying he'll be on a lesser wage then Rangers.

An ITK on Fantasy Island (who's usually correct) has indicated we're in talks with Ryan Hardie and another guy from Rangers.

According to the Daily Mirror, Hoops manager Mark Warburton is keen on a reunion with Ipswich midfielder Alan Judge who previously played for him at Brentford.

The 30-year-old, who broke his wrist when in action for the Republic of Ireland on Friday, only signed a new two-year contract with the Blues in April, so it would be a big surprise if Town were willing to allow him to move on should there prove to be something in the report.

Judge is class. The only way I can see us being able to afford him is if Freeman's going elsewhere.
But yeah, given the new contract, I'd say it's unlikely.

Contrary to this time last season I am happy to see Freeman go but only for the right price and unless several clubs are bidding against each other that is not likely to happen.

Freeman will only go if the price is right: no point in letting him go for a low offer.

Liam Kelly confirmed I see. I assume Ingram will be moving on then.

I know a lot of us think Luke Freeman is likely to go, based on the fact that his quality is a cut above the rest of the squad, but I am not sure how many serious offers there will be. Unless he is only interested in money, club coming in would need to: have the money, be better than us, and not have a similar or better player than LF already. Is he regretting not going to Middlesbrough? He would probably have been paid more, but overall I doubt it.

Austin would have been out of contract 6 months later. Freeman has another 2 years. Pretty crucial difference.

I know this, I was just joking. I'm really not keen to open that particular discussion again.

Disappointing. Endlessly rehashing the same tired old arguments is the lifeblood of this board
