Tough game. Expect them to be in the mix for promotion. 1-0 is the most frustrating of defeats. On to Preston who we owe one too.

Sounds like we created very little today: would've brought on Oteh instead of Smith based on his performance last Sunday.
Smith is alright to bring on when you are holding on to something, but doesn't really offer much of a threat upfront these days. Hope Hemed is back soon.

Smith would be better off elsewhere although he's contributed a fair bit for us. He would get more games with another club.

No disgrace losing at Chef United by one goal. Let's pick up the baton against those toerags from Preston.

The momentum is still with us. Reaching the playoffs would be little short of sensational given the abyssmal start to the season but with Brum likely to be hit by a points deduction, there are only a few clubs in the way.

Agree with all that. with Smith he'd be behind BOS, Oteh and Hemed when he's fit again in my view; he should be looking
for another club this transfer window.
I'm beginning to dislike Preston, synonymous with gamesmanship that lot so a good beating of them is overdue.

It's actually one of the best defeats. Would prefer 1-0 to the WBA defeat. What do you reckon?

Yeah that was very embarrassing, but there was no chance of getting anything out of that game after the third goal went in. When you are only 1 behind...any result is still possible. If you are going to lose by one, at least get on the scoresheet. Sounds like the goal was the only real chance if the match as well. Guess I've been a bit spoiled recently

Quite agree...its our GD which needs attention really so just losing by one goal doesn't eat into to it too much...considering where we are in the table, that current minus GD is really a point worse off in real terms if there is any chance of a play off place...we need thump someone to get that GD into plus figures!
