Hoping to sign SIX players in the transfer window. Ipswich look down already, can't see their board forking out the money.

They've just signed Will Keane, so expect to see Ipswich rocketing up the table once he starts banging the goals in

I have just extrapolated his scoring stats and he is due to bang one in in the fifth game of next season.

Dumped out of the cup by Accrington Stanley now. Things look bleak for Ipswich. I don't like Lambert but I kind of like Ipswich. Nice ground, nice part of the world and they've had some good teams over the years.

talk about reap what you sow....

well remember them giving Mick McCarthy a very hard time during his last tenure with them
month or so from season end he said he was leaving then they still chanted for him to go so.....

he went early, sod them.

well, now they've got what they wished for, can't complain.

Have'nt they just...Mick Mills, Paul Mariner, Kevin Beattie, Alan Brazil, etc, what a side that was! 8)
Agreed though, I like Ipswich too, for the reasons you stated.

I've always said that the Rangers, for a small club, have had the best array of talent. Ipswich come close though with the ones you mention plus the likes of Whymark, Hunter, Wark, Thijsen, Crawford et al.

Ipswich have signed a few this window, including James Collins who I think will do a decent job for them.

Hope they can stay up. Massive match this weekend for them against Rotherham. A defeat would well nigh finish them off as early as mid January.

They're done tbf. If they turn it around now, they will forever be known as Houdini Town. As good as they were in the 70's, they could mix it a bit. Our match there in 75/76 was a real kicking fest for them. They did everything they could to stop us playing. Watch it on Youtube. Ended 1-1.

Last chance saloon today and they managed a win against the fourth bottom club. Hope to see 'em at LR next season.
