Just going to say, their goal looked like poor keeping. There was also another shot later that looked easy and although Lumley flapped it away, it looked like an easy shot to take..

Looks horrendous. But a good save later to redeem himself?

I thought the wall jumping over the ball or parting left him exposed. Had the wall done it's job we wouldn't have conceded, and Lumley would not have been put in that situation.

Something to work on in training I think.

Lumley is not a number one-a good number 2 at best.I think it is a position that is going to be our Achilles heel this season. We will miss smithies

The wall didn't do it's job and left him exposed. He probably didn't see it until very late.
Sorry in advance.

For sure - I can't remember the last time I saw a goal scored from a free kick that actually went under the wall!

One thing for sure, if it had been Ingram social media would have been ablaze and no one would be making excuses for him.

Free kick low under the wall has been done a few times - wall jumps to limit the free kick up and down over the wall but, this opens up for what happened yesterday.

Ingram unlucky - just wrong place wrong time - sure he will bounce back.

We've got use to a high standard with Smithies between the stick, and he had consistent game time, to the exclusion of these players.

We need to give them a chance to adjust to game time in the championship.

I reckon it’ll be the same for Lumley if there is a couple more like that. One or two are easily forgiven, it’s when it starts looking like a pattern. At the moment it’s a one off.

I also wouldn't make an excuse for Lumley's blunder either, but he did make a good
finger tip save later on and I feel more confident with him in goal than Ingram at the
moment.

I've just noticed that for the second goal Freeman starts celebrating before Eze scores! See below at 1.03. He obviously knew Eze was going to hit the back of the net.
