Four games in ten days coming up...
...just an observation but it's very quiet here, thought it would be buzzing with prediction and speculation considering the games coming up!

I'll be glad when we have another Saturday 3pm game.

Think things are turning a corner. As always, I'm quietly optimistic about the upcoming games. Three league games, hopefully six out of nine points, oh and another cup win at Blackpool!

I'm going to take each game as it comes. Any team can beat any other team in the Championship. I'm looking for commitment and effort from the team.

Impossible to predict tomorrow's match. How will the Bolton team react to the shenanigans going on behind the scenes ? Will we, as usual, roll over against a club that has problems. Will that modern day colossus Sean Goss be picked ? I dunno - at best a 0-0 draw I'd say.

Re: Four games in ten days coming up...
judging by our usual anemic visits to Lancashire we'll lose by the odd goal
scored just before half time.
scored just before half time.

Or score a perfectly good goal that gets disallowed by a purblind ref, eh Mr Hill?

Is this going to be the new club fixture norm; two weeks without a match then ten days crammed with four of them? If so it's yet another change that gives no consideration to the fans.
How long before we have televised games with CGI crowds because fans have given up going?

Or, the fans are paid to go to the match and support the team(s)? Rather like extras in a film?dm wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 6:35 amIs this going to be the new club fixture norm; two weeks without a match then ten days crammed with four of them? It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

It's a little bit like that now with all the extras clubs put on to attract a crowd to a game. I wonder what people would have made of going to football back in the day when would stood on terraces, often getting rained on, and only had football to entertain.kernowhoop wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 7:42 amOr, the fans are paid to go to the match and support the team(s)? Mind you, due to the leaky roof in HU, I still get rained on today!

What "extras"? - they even got rid of "round the pole" featuring tubby drunks (now that's entertainment!)
