I've been going to watch QPR again and again for many years expecting different results. I must be insane.

If Schteve finally arrives his appointment might work out for us or it might not.

Nobody knows.

It won't.

It is the manager equivalent of the Boswinga signing

There was nothing wrong with Bosingwa when he arrived it was Harry who fücked up that signing with his altercation which resulted in him locking himself in the dressing room at training.

Bollocks is it. I’m not sure it was enough to sack IH for but it’s nothing like signing a mercenary who can’t be arsed. He has every reason to be motivated and has spent a decent amount of his career at this level. It might be a disaster, but we’ve not exactly replaced someone who was doing a great job either, imo

Do you want that bet?

I know you love championing a scapegoat but are you SERIOUSLY suggesting that Boswinga was OK for us under Hughes and that it wasn't until Harry turned up that he went to pot ?

Bosingwa made his debut for QPR at West Brom and as soon as he came on you could see that we had got a great player. He played really well in his next few games and then he seemed to be as bad as anyone else (this was before fans found out about the dressing room problems). After Hughes was sacked and HR appointed, JB was told he was only going to be on the bench for the upcoming game because of his attitude at training, JB had a row with him accusing HR of never being at training so how could he make that call. There is a lot more to that story and it ended up with JB and M'Bia being selected to play against Newcastle at home just so the fans could boo them. Bosingwa showed in that game just what a quality footballer he was despite the abuse. We only ever got 'arry's POV on anything at the time.

My memory of him from that game was West Brom breaking from one of our corners, and SWP running the full length of the field to try and get back to cover. They narrowly missed, and I looked up at Bosingwa, and he had barely jogged back to the halfway line.

Of course he could play, but he was the ultimate mercenary as far as I'm concerned. Here for the money, and barely bothering to hide it.

Pretty much spot on. I remember the day he signed a Chelscum supporting friend (sorry) saying to me that he only turned up for them to pick his pay packet up. I cannot remember seeing too many more disinterested players playing for us. The big shame was that he replaced quite a good player.

Boswinga was a very talented player. For whatever reason, his attitude sucked. At times he made Taarabt seem like the uber professional.

Malcolm, if he comes, will do a decent job. I think we will improve to be top 10 next season.
Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.
