Cardiff City
If they win their game in hand at Derby ( the original game called off in dubious circs ), they'll be just three points behind the Wolves who who expected to run away with this league. Can't stand them like most on here, but what an achievement from Mr Warnock.

I think you'll find that it is the players that are winning these games.

Re: Cardiff City
From reading reports of their matches it seems they have a knack of winning even when playing poorly. This is a cliche much beloved of TV pundits. Thankfully, they played poorly at LR but didn't achieve anything despite that dubious penalty.

Someone to lay the blame on the players when they lose?QPR_John wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 9:17 amWhat is the point of managers thenEsox Lucius wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 7:09 amI think you'll find that it is the players that are winning these games.

Re: Cardiff City
Echoes of us in 2010/11 in that he has largely done it with a group of largely unheralded players. Can definitely see things going exactly the same way as with us if they get promoted too. Unless they do a Huddersfield or Brighton and have an overhaul I can see them struggling and old Colin getting the boot not too long after he got the boot for us.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Re: Cardiff City
Warnock's stacked and racked attacking options like he did with us and signed Grujic - similar to us with premier league loans when he was manager. Physical back line as well.
Premier League survival is a big ask for promoted teams - Wolves will throw a shed load of cash at it and will stay up unless they make a push ear of it ...

Re: Cardiff City
Colin also managed to reinforce my already low opinion of him with a heart "wander off" to the Wolves manager when he attempted several times to shake his hand at the end of the game. All beautifully captured on sound & vision by the cameras.

Re: Cardiff City
I didn't see the game on TV, but the papers are saying Warnock extended his hand at the end of the game but the Wolves manager rebuffed him and went to celebrate with his team.

Re: Cardiff City
Really? maybe the media are trying to reinforce the positive image of their "product" to overseas watchers. NES walked after Colin at the final

Re: Cardiff City
The BBC website is saying the Wolves manager refused a handshake and apologised afterwards, an apology that Warnock refused to accept. I dunno, I'd rather believe Warnock because of what he achieved with us, but it's all in the past so I'm not bothered really !

Re: Cardiff City
Maybe, maybe not. Remaining fixtures:
Fulham - Brentford (H), Millwall (A), Sunderland (H) & Birmingham (A)
Cardiff - Norwich (A), Forest (H), Derby (A), Hull (A), Reading (H)
Question everything.
