I got fed up with the Grauniad some years back and switched to the Times and having a crack at the crossword every day. Seeing this clue, I might just switch back!

The Times crossword is the best but it’s the rest if the Murdoch crap that I can’t stand. The Guardian used to be a good newspaper and the crossword is almost as good. Unfortunately, both papers are crap these days.

I agree - In gave up on the Grauniad because it was becoming really wishy washy. The Times is OK if you read between the lines a bit.
