I reckon he has been chatting to Swansea behind the boro backs and they found out. Steve Gibson isn’t a chairman to sack a manager

Or is it Monk? This is the third club from which he's been quickly moved on.

Very strange. Decent manager with a good win ratio.

Boro fans are another lot with a misplaced sense of entitlement (though of course I'm not one to generalise).
With the expensively assembled strike force they have, there was a feeling on Teesside that Monk should be doing better.
Not sure about the Swansea thing, I think that he needs a lower profile job and some time to do things his own way a la Dyche at Burnley or Howe at Bournemouth. Otherwise, he could be another manager largely written off before his 40th birthday whilst Hughes, Pardew, Pulis etc keep getting jobs.
Get him a job at somewhere like Cardiff. That should do.

So Pulis fancies the job. No doubt he'll do well at this level but I wonder how much Borough fans will enjoy his brand of football?
