Inducted players

Post by Giorgio » Mon May 18, 2020 7:15 pm

I see that almost every match, at half time there is a player getting inducted in the Hall of Fame of the club....
I never stay in during half time, prefer to go for a pint with my mates, so I miss all of the inductions processed in these years...

Do you know if there is a list of those players...? I am curious to see if Don Givens has been already called...in these days of
forced confinement at home I have watched some matches on the Irish TV and they showed an Ireland-Russia 3-0 where Don scored
a hat-trick....and they continuously mentioned him as QPR player.... aniclap aniclap aniclap aniclap

Hello Giorgio - so in short, you can't be arsed during the games to find out who is being inducted into 'Forever Rs', and now you want to sub-contract the search on google for the answer to your question :D

I am happy to oblige. According to the link below, Don Givens has indeed been inducted:

Don Givens was inducted during a midweek game. From memory he was involved with coaching/recruitment in Ireland.

I'm generally always interested to hear what the former players are up to and am always intrigued to see if they have kept themselves in decent shape.
Come on you Sooopa ........

....thank you...and FYI...the half time pint with my mates is always part of my day-off-to-LR.....together with a pre-match pint (plus lunch) at the Crown&Sceptre and a post-match pint still at the Crown&Sceptre....

bear in my mind that my "day with the Rs" usually starts at 4am in the morning and end at about midnight...
in the middle...two flights over the Irish channel....so I am pretty used to that routine and not changing it....

No Marcus Bent yet?
