Nakhi Wells

Post by White Duck » Mon Nov 11, 2019 11:55 am

He's been fantastic this season and has looked a constant goal threat. Near the top of the goalscorers list and has the best minutes per goal ratio too.
If he keeps it going he could be on target for his first ever 20 league goals season.

Hopefully we have already agreed a permanent deal in some shape or form for him.

He did an interview a short while back where he said he would love to join us permanently; hopefully that will come about.

If he scores 20 goals and is available on a free at the end of the season, he won't be short of other offers. At 30, it will probably be the last big contract of his career, so he's likely to want to make the most of that. I imagine we'd have to break our current wage structure to accommodate him.
