McGoldrick comes on as sub in the 64th minute, wins a penalty and scores it in the 65th. Not watching but almost sounds like a plan...interested to hear if it was merited.

Looking at the opening line up, and substitution I thought we would be keeping it on the floor but no.

Huge gaps appearing in the middle, defence looking weak, poor performance so far.

We are creating more than enough, We need a striker or two. Midfield looks good. Eze could have had 4 goals

It looked like one of the softest pens i've ever seen. flipping annoying considering what Matt Smith put up with last season.

Not really clear cut chances though.

I know I am in the minority but I still think there is something not quite right with the midfield.

Still bugger all we can do really. SMc said he learnt a lot about the team last week, well I think he has learnt even more today.

Best chance of an equaliser is a foul on Eze or OS for a pen

Obscenely soft penalty. Typical

We were ok in 1st half, poor in 2nd for the second week in a row which is worrying.

Desperately need a bit of quality on loan, preferably a mobile striker who can link up with eze and freeman.

Watched the match online. We huffed and puffed, scored a good goal, then once again conceded either side of half - time. Second half we disappeared badly, and with that defence and attack we are rightly one of the relegation favourites. Need some loans or it could be a long wait for our first point on the board. This bastard league is getting like our brief stays in the Premier league in recent times. Oh and Sylla given yet another chance, fails miserably. Should have been hooked long before he was along with Luongo who still flatters to deceive for me. I simply don't buy this middle three like a lot do. They are too powder puff when the going gets tough. Eze despite some naivety was my MOTM closely followed by the BFG. Pen did look a bit soft as others have said.

Watching the replay's the penalty was soft. Was it for Bidwell making a back or Lynch's slightly clumsy leap? Soft either way and not even in front of goal.

We dominated in patches as did United. Scrappy most of the time but overall not good considering some of our performances last season.

Have to agree with Damien on Sylla although not much in the way of service for him or Smith when he came on. As I say the lineup suggested to me that we would try and play it on the ground but it wasn't the case.

Long hard season ahead as we expected, be lucky to get anyone decent on loan unless Penrice and Co have identified some gems here or abroad. As Tony said loans can become permanent deals so that might be a factor.

Apart from Eze's finally taken goal my favourite moment was Ingram's save from Clarke although we gave him far too much time and space to get his shot away. A close up of Clarke straight afterwards muttering ''What a fcuking save!''

Lynch was clumsy all game Rbee, but it looked like Bidwell who the ref penalised. Thought it was hand-ball at first. We are going to need loans though, as even this early the signs aren't good. We are too lightweight all over the pitch, and need to learn some of the "Dark Arts" of modern football. I'll say it again, the Championship is getting more like the Prem every season.

Ok... My tuppence worth as its after 5pm on Saturday

Performance was patchy in the first half and poor in the second... Didn't look like scoring after the penalty...

Be interested if there first was offside, didn't look it to me but the one eyed round R block was convinced it was.. Penalty? no idea

Defo need some quality loans to stay up...

Long hard season ahead...
2020/2021.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....
